NKAR will be Exhibiting at KOTFA 2014 (Korea World Travel Fair)

In 2009 soon after the end of the 30 years internal ethnic conflict Sri Lanka had, inbound tourism to Sri Lanka has faced a tremendous growth, Sri Lankan government & all the stakeholders in the tourism industry started investing heavily to cater to this fast increasing demand.

 

South Koreans also has shown a great interest to visit Sri Lanka &  during past few year the inflow from S’Korean tourists to Sri Lanka keeps growing. In 2013 Sri Lanka has received 12207 Korean tourists to Sri Lanka which is 55.7% growth compared to previous year, during the 1^st 4 months in 2014 there is 16.7% growth fromS’Korea to Sri Lanka.

Considering the importance of the S’Korean market Sri Lanka tourism is attending KOTFA 2014 at Seoul from 29^th May to 1^st June. Few DMCs from Sri Lanka also will be exhibiting at this event with the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau.

 

Dhanushka Wijeyekoon, Senior Assistant Marketing Manager of NKAR Travels & Tours Pvt Ltd  will represent the Company & the country too at the KOTFA 2014 in Seoul, South Korea with other stakeholder parties from Sri Lanka.
